Where the global arbitration community meets. Co‑hosted by the New York International Arbitration Center (NYIAC) and the New York Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArbNY), New York Arbitration Week (NYAW) is the premier annual gathering for international arbitration in New York.
NYAW brings together practitioners, arbitrators, academics, institutions, and in-house counsel from around the world. New York can offer this truly global perspective, being a leading venue for international arbitration, consistently selected as the preferred seat in the Americas and the global hub of finance, commerce, technology, media, diplomacy, and culture.

In a world marked by change and complexity, international arbitration faces both challenges and opportunities. This year’s theme reflects our collective search for the guiding principles that ensure legitimacy, transparency, diversity, efficiency, and sustainability. During NYAW, practitioners, arbitrators, institutions, and relevant stakeholders will explore how to navigate what’s next.
This year also marks the 20th Annual Fordham Conference on International Arbitration and Mediation and the 100th anniversary of the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA).
