New York Arbitration Week

Join the global arbitration community in New York to explore new trends, connect with leaders, and shape the future of dispute resolution

Call for Proposals for the 2026 New York Arbitration Week (Nov. 16-20)

Deadline: August 5, 2026

The theme of New York Arbitration Week (NYAW) 2026 is “Arbitration in a Changing World: The Road Ahead.” After years of unprecedented change—in technology, trade, regulation, and the profession itself—international arbitration stands at an inflection point. NYAW 2026 asks what comes next, exploring how parties, practitioners, institutions, and other stakeholders are adapting and preparing for the future—from AI-driven changes to new institutional rules to a shifting geopolitical landscape to the next generation of voices shaping the field.

As we begin planning NYAW 2026, we invite members of the arbitration community—both in New York and around the world—to submit proposals for professional and social programming. Please submit your proposals by August 5, 2026 via this form. Proposals should include a brief description, format, and suggested speakers for the proposed program.

We encourage proposals that address novel issues, reflect a range of perspectives and legal cultures, and include in-house counsel where possible. Please do not confirm any speakers until your proposal has been accepted. If you are not based in New York and require assistance identifying potential venues, the Organizing Committee will be happy to help.

We expect to notify selected proposals on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to submit your proposal as early as possible before the deadline. If you have any questions, please reach out to NYAW 2026 Co-Chairs Katie Gonzalez (kgonzalez@cgsh.com) and John V.H. Pierce (john.pierce@lw.com), or to this year’s secretaries, Paul-Angelo dell’Isola, Stanislas Conze, Julie Zheng, Patrick Powers, and Nicolas Esguerra at 2026-nyaw-secretaries-cgshandexternal@cgsh.com.

We look forward to your joining us in shaping an engaging and rewarding NYAW 2026!
